Unfortunately the forcast really isn't in our favor.

even though i would hate to move it. it looks like it would be a good idea to move it back one week. plus i think that it would be nice so that we can clean our cars. it doesn't really bother me for either weekend. i go to north va every weekend.

After talking to a bunch of people, weather on the 22nd looks great, we're gonna push it back until then. I'm sorry for the sudden change and hope you all can make it. This way your trip won't be wasted because of us forcing the meet for tomorrow in the rain. It's supposed to precipitate all day and all evening..aka the weather looks like shit, according to Mike.

I'll take the blame for this one guys.. As of 11pm last night the forecast for today was still 80% chance of rain at noon in Richmond and 70% chance for the rest of the day. I guess the front moved through much faster than expected. When I looked outside today I was like
WTF???A lot of people had already called Faiz to cancel and with people leaving early in the morning to travel from further away, we had to use the information we had on hand last night to make sure word got out to everyone in time.
Again.. I will take the blame for the weather call. I am very sorry to anyone who won't be able to make it next week and those of you who were really looking forward to meeting up today. You are all welcome to kick my a$$ the next time we get together.
For those of you who can make it next week.. Let's cross our fingers and pray for another great meet!

IMHO, Sunday does seem like an ideal day for a meet (church, games, etc). The weekend of the 29th is Thanksgiving weekend. I know I will be in SC during that weekend.
Won't blame you for missing the meet for your son party though. There will always be another meet.

thanksgiving weekend is most likely out of the question for most people. dealling with the weather, i was watching it all day on my phone and it was every hour when i looked and guess what it said. it said rain for every hour of yesterday. then when the hour came up, the forcast turned to cloudy for that hour. i need to go back to fl.. weather is more predictable.

Mike, any ideas on the date for the meet? I'd like to make it but I need some advance notice so I can make sure I don't have anything going on. If you don't know yet, it's cool. The later start time is to allow time for a private party to clear out that starts at the kart track at 11am.
Thanksgiving weekend will not work at all.. too many people are either traveling or busy with family obligations.

As for the upcoming "Mystery Meet" I am still waiting to hear back on some details, but I will do everything I can to make sure we work around your schedule and you are included.
