I've seen one of the shift knobs in person and it is of great quality! I know they haven't been made in mass yet, but I'm sure people will definitely be pleased with them once the knobs are ready for sale. I hope they're ready for Christmas time too.
Dan, I hope your new job is going well -- I know how stressful it can be to switch jobs at the drop of a hat, so to speak. That being said, I absolutely must have one of these shift knobs. I hate the stock TSX knob. I hate the color. I hate the weighting. I hate the shape.
I'm psyched to get one, any update on production timing?

Thanks for your ongoing support guys. Nobody wants these knobs to come to market more than me. I've got a ton of members that have PM'd me and I'll be sure to let everyone up to date when I have some new information.
So far the new job has been fairly stressful (both physically and mentally) but it's going pretty well. For those keeping score, my total dose so far is 106 mrem whole body and 800 mrem on the extremities.

I just went back a few pages -- looks pretty good! It's bigger than stock TSX, right? I'd like a shifter with a lot more to it.... Someone mentioned a Prelude knob above? I like that odd shape used on the Prelude SH. I hated the square brick on the base Prelude.

That is a beautiful thing.

Now that I'm back in town, I can focus on the shift knobs again. I'm just waiting for material pricing and availability since it's been a few months since I last had quotes. I'll have more updates for everyone throughout the week.

Here are a few quick snapshots of Dan Martin's (own) custom Acurazine Shiftknob. ...Hard pics to take, as the car was moving at the time. I'm sure he'll be updating us soon!
Acura TSX, black leather interior, seat heater option, and dust not included.
There's a spy among us!
and
@ "dust not included". I know my car is a disgrace.
As for an update on the knob situation, the machine shop that I was dealing with is way too busy working on high-paying jobs to be interested in helping with this little project, so I'm calling on some of my past contacts in the industry to help me out. We will be coming into the slow season here for the machining industry soon, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that someone will have some available capacity on their lathes in a bit.

That's pretty dumb logic.
