Here is what I have collected of my own ILX so far.

First day

Yesterday. Amado, Arizona.

Stock 2013 Silver Moon 2.4 6-speed with 37,000 miles.

 

Oddly I find every and all Acuras to be the least photogenic luxury brand out there. Obviously that is my opinion, but I had zero interest in Acura based entirely on pictures of every single model I looked at when my wife was looking to get a new 4 door sedan. Because the only 2 requirements she needed was a manual transmission and leather seats along with the 4 doors, that whittled the selection down quickly. There was Audi, but I've read about their questionable reliability. Then there was BMW which has pretty good reliability but they are all rear wheel drive (lots of rain and some snow here in WA state) unless you get an xdrive, but still, attempting to own a BMW for 10+ years might become very costly, so I looked into Infiniti, Acura, and Lexus. Lexus is out of the picture since there is not a one manual transmission model these days in their line-up, and Infiniti only had the G37 coupe, unless we stepped up the price. So I bit the bullet and we went to look at Acuras and I have to say I was completely blown away at how gorgeous every model was. Why does this brand not photograph so well? In person, every model is a damn beautiful car. The ILX in particular, I first saw it from the rear quarter view and it was love at first sight.

So to get to the point of this post, my 2 favorite shots of the ILX are the hind quarter view (such as my avatar), or the angle side view from a higher vantage point. Basically looking down the second story of my house as the wife drives the car to work, it is a thing to look at. I will attempt to get a photograph of that view one of these days and I will post it here.

I love my ilx on screen and in person. You mean to tell me you wouldn't have felt the ILX looked good if you saw any of those pictures prior to your purchase?

To each their own I suppose.

I have yet to see any shots of your entire car trentimus. Id imagine there are some great places for shoots in Texas. Way too crowded here so good locations are few and far between.

 

Alright, it was overcast the entire day, so I couldn't get a crisp picture, but here goes:

 

I think the car looks great in pictures..same with the tl and tsx. Not so much the zdx or mdx (think those cars look better in real life).

Jon, what foglight bulbs are you using? They look much more yellow in the housings than mine do

 

Yup. I greatly reviewed the images of the ILX before we went to the dealership and thought the car looked boring and drab... oh yeah, forgot to say we were looking at the TSX to test drive. But the first car that caught my eye was the ILX. But they all looked nice in person.

I like the water shot.

I am dying to see someone here with a crimson garnet pearl ILX. I really wanted that color but unfortunately the car was for my wife and she wanted silver.

so am I. I just take the pictures. All photos, except when I first got the car, are done using my cell phone.

Acura really nailed the grille on this car. Bout damn time..

 

the more i spend on mods and driving the car, the more I like it. Just need to put mounts and suspension to make the car truly enjoyable to toss around.\

does anyone else find that they can't stop looking at the car when it's parked? lol, I always look back at the car when I'm going inside a store, lol.

After watching this video I was pretty certain getting white ILX with aero package. Went to the dealership the next day and signed papers.

Did that more with the integra than the ilx.

 

Jon, you'll probably like your ILX more when you start modding more. You have some plans that are gonna make it look awesome'er

Northeastern Arizona on Highway 160 just east of Kayenta.

 

Upgraded ILX wheels look gooooood! Would have got a set if I wasn't thinking of wheels to get before I even started the lease.

SO JEALOUS OF YOUR NO LICENSE PLATE!!! Makes the car so much sexier!!

And I'm located in SoCal. That picture is at the top of the mountains surrounding the Gun Range I work at.
