Thanks! Great Pics from you as well 4cruizn. I've been wanting to drive my ILX up Mt. Evans since I got it. I have lived in Colorado my entire life and driving up a long mountain road has always been one of my favorite things to do. The ones i took today were taken from Lookout Mountain in Golden, Co right next to the Coors plant lol.

Thanks, I just went with the white Plasti Dip. I wasn't too sure how it would turn out at first but I think I have really grown to like it. I almost went with the dark grey on the ILX from what I saw online, but I couldn't take my eye off of the white pearl once I got to the dealer, so I had to have it.

I just used the standard matte white plastidip since I could pick it up in 10 minutes from my local hardware store, super convenient.

Thank you.
It's just some H&R springs. It needs more low. This is how they should have rolled out of the factory!

@Flyers257

I notice you have a ILX Hybrid spoiler on your non-Hybrid ILX. Nice.

Back to Race Car...

I promise I am not intentionally coping Jon's mods, but I have to give him credit because he keeps fixing all the things I think stand out as wrong. My car being Silver and the chrome edging looked good, but then to have a brushed aluminum look for the front just looked out of place. Plasti Dip does a fabulous job at fixing that.

I also painted the calipers black so keep the car looking clean.

Front lip looks great. I wasn't feeling the black on the grill so your car doesnt look as much as mine. I love all the polished accents on the car so I had to sport the brushed grill.

Plus our color combo is like the opposite. Light wheels dark car vs dark wheels on a light car.

Yeah on the dark paint the front looks great. With the silver moon paint, the front grill just looks off as it's just shades away from the factory color.

If we ever have a car meet I will park next to you and bring license plates that say "Day" and "Night" on them. haha.

Nice. Id like to see the fitment.
I couldn't justify paying more for a roof spoiler than I did the front lip. I told them on IG Id pay 50 and they said no.

Im interested in the fitment. If they dont come rolled up and are really sturdy, like will hold shape if off the car and held at one end then I may throw some pennies together here and there to scrape some funds together.

What is it made of? Whats the finish? PICS!!!

He has one or two pictures of it in his Album.

Also noticed he has a dolphin tip on his exhaust.

He recently ran a 35% off sale on Facebook, including shipping. The promo code is "FBBLACK35".

The spoiler arrived via UPS Ground in a long box; it's too firm to roll up, and just pliable enough to follow the curve of the rear window edge. It's finished in smooth black plastic, but can be painted with some prep work.

Fitment wasn't difficult at all, and the 3M adhesive stuck fine without the need for masking tape to hold down the edges. The fit is very precise, too, and matched up almost perfectly with the rear window.

Here's a picture that shows how closely it matches the glass.

Spoilerking posted them up a month or so ago.
They also got a deck lid spoiler up. Not even half as big as the oem spoiler. Looks pretty good but Im not a huge fan of cosmetics held on by 3M. Shit gets stolen. Il probably grab the oem front valances before this.

As far as the rear window spoiler goes, SpoilerKing recommends using glass epoxy for a stronger fit. The fact it was "only" stick-on appealed to me, though, since I wasn't really sure how I'd like the look of the attachment, and there may come a time when I'll want to take it off with a minimum of mess or fuss. Besides, if someone wants it badly enough, they'll get it either way.
