I still love you... maybe.

Browsing earlier in your thread and seeing your custom tails makes me want to get Thanh (GP16) to do mine already lol. I'm trying to decide exactly what route I want to go though, decisions decisions. I actually really enjoy the red with the blue man, I'm surprised you didn't like it! I think its an awesome contrast. I know my BBK will definitely be red

i like red calipers but I wasn't a fan of the stock tails. I thought id like the black tail look but it didn't turn out how I thought it would. The custom tails are so sick though I'm pumped to get those put in , i think they're going to look great..

Wait till you see the headlights! lol

Go Coyotes! Lol

This probably doesn't happen to you guys cuz you're all in Canada, where everybody loves hockey lol, but three different times at work with three different groups of people I've overheard "oh, you're a big hockey fan? Me too!" Seems like everyone I know loves hockey but doesn't know that everyone else loves it too lol.

Well lets face it, playoff hockey is definitely much more interesting than the regular season slog, especially for a suffering team. I mean I enjoyed watching the beginning of the season for the Leafs but after the Carlyle debacle it was pretty much "OK, time to turn this shit off"

Nah...there's a hockey discussion thread in the Sports sub-forum. Just a small segue here.

Lol yeah it's hard to be a super devoted fan, when your team really sucks. but I did get to go to 3 regular games this season. Sure, my team lost all three games, but at least... Ummm.. Well at least the beer was cold!!

Nice! Those are legit!

I'm so jealous! What does Bruce charge for something like that?

I love the color-matching accents, and of course CF rules!

That's not bad at all, man I was thinking more along the lines of 600-700! Definitely worth it and your car is really going to stand out with them.

What are the switchbacks? I've heard of them but I'm not sure I've ever actually seen them before.

well its 280 or so then you give him your headlights too so those hold some value in the deal as well

Switchbacks for the turn signals.. is a LED bulb that when you lights are on it shines a white light, when you hit your turn signal is flashes amber..

Guys do that so when you remove the amber in the headlight your not running a amber bulb which would look pretty silly trying to illuminate through the cleared part..

Hopefully i explained that good enough LOL

Car is STILL in my buddys shop... ran into a few things when working on the front suspension... control arm bushings were shot so got new LCA's with bushings and lower ball joints on top of all the work that was being done.. had to get a few suspension bolts also as he had to cut some out as they were seized all to hell LOL

Ahhh yeah ok I have seen those before. Some of the newer cars out there have it from the factory i think. Yep you explained it just fine!

Makes sense why people would want it, and there is the legal purposes too depending on what your local laws are like.

Lol @ that video, is that a company's example of their switchbacks on a TL? Looks a little cheesey to me, but I actually kinda like the green HIDs they have there.

280 is a great deal! I have lights from JnC that were done pretty much like yours but I didn't get the ring or strip. I got:

Color Matched V2 (ABP)
Painted fog light bulb covers
Chrome strip
USR clear diffusers
CF overlays
ZKW-R lenses
Hybrid TL projectors (DOT step style cut off shields paired with 07 TL projector bowls)
Full front lens restoration
New Phillips 85122+ bulbs

Looking forward to seeing yours installed.

car is going into body shop for paint within a week or 2 so install will happen then , but they said they need my car for 10-12 days for the painting... so realistically I won't have EVERYTHING done until the end of may..

I have literally put SOOOO much into this car the past few months.. Im getting really anxious to see and drive the final product..

Next up I'm saving for a coil setup but that wont be for a little bit

Wow, I would have withdrawls if I were without my car for that long.

For coils, I actually went less expensive and did the H&R Sports Springs. Modest drop and about $350 instead of ~$1,000 for coilovers.

Now the real question is: What will you be driving while the TL is in the shop??

if the car was new id look into just springs. but where its approx 9 years old prob just best to fork over the cash for the whole system

Not having to drive sometimes is a luxury, at least when the car is in the shop getting chopped!

Don't spend all your income on your car, make sure to keep some money for gas, it's going to be expensive this summer.

yea for sure, I should be alright in terms of gas..but you know what really burns me... here in Saint John NB we actually refine oil here, Irving Oil Refinery.. and u would think we would have some of the lower gas prices in Canada but nope its actually the opposite.. Irving basically has a monopoly on gas..

Not to mention all the potholes that are created by his massive trucks and tankers that tear up the city roads.
