Slight vibration at 35

Have only had my 23 TLX Type S performance tires for a week (first Acura) and I have noticed on several occasions a slight vibration at 35 mph. Switching the performance mode has no affect. It's too slight to be a miss (I'm sure if the is a miss the dash would lightbup like a Christmas tree too) and I doubt it's a tire out of balance. Just wondering if it's the tire treads - still stock originals. Any similar experiences?

If the tires are cold (aka not warmed up) they can have "flat-spots" that form due to the soft nature of high performance tires. Once they warm up the flat-spots should be gone. I know on my old summer tires it could take as long as 5 miles on the highway to get them smooth as glass if the car sat for a week in the garage.

You can always have the balance checked by a shop that uses the hunter road force balancer machine. Most discount tire shops have them since they are very accurate.

Thanks for the response. It's been in the 80s to 90s so I never considered flat spots. I'll check again with warm tires.

Still have the vibration and my concern factor is getting strong enough to bring it to the dealer. Saw an old post somewhere that it could be wind buffering through the air dam, but I'm not sure what he was talking about (he stuck some foam somewhere to stop it). It doesn't happen while braking. Consistently occurs between 30 and 40 mph. Drive settings make no difference. Hope it's not transmission / transfer case.

Did you find a solution? I have the vibration too and was wondering if mine have the same issue like yours.

Not yet. Enjoying the drive too much to have it taken away for a few days. I plan on bringing it in when the weather turns. Thankfully it has not gotten any worse, but it is still concerning. I'll let you know what happens when I bring it in. Hope you will too.
