I took the type S on a desolate road and it was pretty awesome. The car got filthy during the drive. I love driving this car and the way it handles and grips the road.

Thank you! It was a gamble when I decided to cut it and im glad I did. Besides, it added a little function allowing the air molecules to hit harder on the intercooler lol

I cut the MAF sensor section out of the airbox and then stuck a cone filter on it. It sounds awesome now.

Thanks! I am loving it. It was very inexpensive to do and made a big difference in sound so I am happy with the result. Yes there are probably some aftermarket options for your engine that should work.

yea someone has to make one. They’ll make more parts for it as it’ll be popular like previous 07-08 I rather wait and buy a nice system vs Jerry rigging current intake. I think Injen and AEM will make one for sure. The car is still too new so just gotta be patient.

But thats for the the 2.0t engine. For the Type S I did mention to them and they put out a blog for R&D
I just got a reply from HPS performance and they have an interest for the 2.0t engine. Just need the right timing.
AEM and aFe Power I spoken to them but currently no interest for either the 2.0t or Type S.
So will see what HPS say in a few days.....

That is nice to hear there is someone working on an intake for the Type S. Thanks for that information. I wasn't aware of HPS until now so I will have to keep a lookout for developments. It will be neat to see what type of power gains can be achieved.

Also, I have decided the HKS blowoff valve will probably work if you get the civic 1.5t adapter. It just depends on the hood clearance.

I am wanting to install some canards and a side splitter as well and some type of a winglet off the front splitter.
I should have some icy photos after today.

For the side splitter I am going to try and make my own with carbon fiber, or buy a universal pair or a set for some other car that is atleast 82 inches long. The front winglet will probably be similar to what i did on the white dragon.

I started saving money up when i first saw the concept car. You should definitely try to get one at some point. It's really fun to drive and a very capable machine. And now the aftermarket support is starting to roll in.

I'm sure with just a reflash/tune, the Type S will be at the 380-400 mark. The car bone stock is great. But knowing me, I'll get some lowering springs, wheels, and tune and would be happy.

Dude ...
Absolutely love your choice of wheels, but get ones that fit properly (offset). Also, 295s might have suited the wheels a bit better. At the end of the day, it's your car, but it's not my cup of tea ...

Don’t listen to people telling you what to do with your car, you do you bud. I was scared going out 10mm to 19x8.5 et 40 for my winter set and you pushed it out another 43mm lol bold. Got any video’s of the intake at work? Thats one thing i have been really wanting, the 3.5’s were all intake noise, no exhaust, 3.0t is all exhaust no intake, i’d love to hear it huff and puff more.
