2025 TLX/ASPEC/3,000 miles
I can RECEIVE texts, but CANNOT send, when using my Acura GPS
I can send by typing on my IPhone 16E
Any ideas why?
Acura CS is clueless

 

UPDATE: Spoke with people in the know
You CANNOT text, with Acura GPS engaged
You CAN receive, but can't reply
Strange set-up, but that's that
It sucks for people like me, that utilize USB/5,1 Surround Music
which can only be utilized through Acura GPS, & NOT Apple Carplay
Carplay is perfect for sending & receiving texts

 

This TLX system was implemented 5 years ago, back in 2021. Acura has no intention to update the system because its product plan has long ago decided to put the TLX on the butcher board.
