Wind noise from Driver's window

Hello fellow 2g TLX owners. Wondering if any of you have experienced noticeable wind noise from the driver's side window.

I can clearly hear wind noise when going above 50mph on corner of the window seal near the b pillar. If i press on the seal it quiets down. Have a service appt with the dealer, but wanted to get fellow owner's experience.

P.S. My puddle lights also stopped working the 2nd day of ownership.

Thanks,

Luis

No wind noise for me but this whole puddle light issue is really confounding since Acura has had puddle lights on numerous cars for years. How can the design of them on the 2021 TLX be such a blunder?

Same here, haven’t experienced any or excessive wind noise when going down the road. As a precaution, you check the weather seals that go around the body frame and create a seal between the vehicle and the door - that stuff usually comes right off if you pull on it; make sure it’s seated correctly.

The seal looks fine to me and appears to be in the same position as the passenger side. I will update the thread after my service appt tomorrow.

I know it's a completely different vehicle, but I'm sure they use the same crappy parts on different cars. My window seal on my 3G RDX was pinched between the door frame and the window. I noticed it once while fueling it up one day. They replaced it (poorly) under warranty. That being said, wind isolation isn't one of the car's strong suits and its gotten surprisingly worse in just about 2yrs.

Your car was made in China...kidding. Check all the seals and see if everything is tucked correctly. Check anything at the front of that too, whatever that is may cause more turbulence and create more noise.

I have had mine since the end of Dec 2020, no wind noise at all. Puddle lights went out pretty quickly.

Going in for my first service next week, A1. I will bring the puddle lights up for repair, not sure how long they will last.
