White paint slightly different color on the nose?
I've always understood that it has to do with metallic paint being applied to plastic body panels vs metal body panels. Almost all cars have the same issue, with some colors being more noticeable than others. Unfortunately, the pearl white metallic paint on the TLX it is a bit more on the noticeable side. Bothers my OCD a bit, but most people looking at your car probably are never going to see it.
Our Rapid Red Ford Explorer ST has the same issue, both front and rear bumpers have an ever so slightly different look to the red paint.

Thanks!
I've never seen that (or heard of that explanation ). Sounds more like they were painted at different times. Also, remember that all modern auto-painting is at least a 2-step process (IIRC, some are even 3 or more steps).
Here, I just found this in Google. Since I agree with their explanations, I will share it with you. Notice, even if 1,2 or 3 happened, still not an excuse for it not to match (especially not when it was being built and paint for the first time at an automobile factory).

PS. Yes, just so happens that my A5-Coupe (and the wife's new 2023 Q5-e) are both "Glacier White" which is basically Audi's version of the metallic-white you are talking about (except Acura's is a bit darker for some reason).

I noticed this on our white 2016 RDX, but not the white 2022 RDX. I believe they have to add a flex agent to the paint they put on the plastic parts which can throw the color from the main body off slightly. I'd say only super anal people like me and some of you are the only ones that really notice it. I've seen it on various brands of cars, not just Honda/Acura.
