Type S Comfort

Type S Comfort
I'm still looking into picking up a Type-S, I'd like to know from current owners how they feel about the comfort level(suspension wise) in their Type-S. Seats comfortable? How's the daily drive?

It’s great. The ride is slightly louder and less smooth than say an ASPEC but not by much. The adjustable seats, including the added bolster adjustments, make the seats perfect.
I had an ASPEC loaner for a day the other day and wouldn’t ever consider switching from a Type S. Remember that this is still an Acura and comfort is something they considered when building it.

I agree. One thing Acura did nail were the different dynamic modes. From comfort, normal, to sport, you can definitely feel the difference. The Type S is quiet and behaves comfortably when needed and has a sporty edge when you demand it. Comfort is not something you’ll complain about.

There was a noticable difference for me in road noise between the all-season tire and summer tire type-s models. Other than that, ride qualty is really good. Seats are soft and very confortable.

Yep, went from '21 A-Aspec to '22 Type-S and the ride is definitely a little harsher, but not punishing at all, even in Sport and Sport+. The dampers do an amazing job. On the other hand I'm now terrified of potholes...

Thinner the side wall, lower aspect ratio number, the less comfortable they are & the bigger the risk you will trash a wheel at some point. Have 30's in the rear on 20" rims which I think is too low but its what the car comes with. Car runs 35 on 19" in front. Its a mixed diameter staggered wheel set up. Car handles very well on the setup but can be expensive to maintain if you are not careful, not a NYC type of setup.
Prior lowest was 35 on 19" rims. Lost one wheel on that car in 130K miles. Pot holes at night are a bitch.
