TLX no longer an IIHS Top Safety Pick for 2023

Despite getting the highest rating in 2022 (IIHS Top Safety Pick Plus), the TLX is no longer a Top Safety Pick for 2023.
The change came as the IIHS introduced tougher criteria for 2023.
Out of the 38 evaluation points, where the TLX came short was in just one specific finding - it received a "marginal" rating on driver's side lower leg/foot injury measurement in the small overlap front crash test.
Interestingly, the passenger side lower leg/foot injury measure got the highest score. Both the driver and passenger side got the highest score in overall evaluation on the small overlap front crash test. Also, the driver's side lower leg/foot injury measurement got an acceptable score on the moderate overlap front crash test - had it got that score on the small overlap test the TLX would've been Top Safety Pick Plus.

The link says the TLX is still Top Safety Pick Plus for 2023 looking it up as a vehicle, but the NEWS article gives the 2023 list which omits the TLX from both Pick and Pick+. It should be noted that they didn't test a 2022 or 2023, the ratings are based on Honda's test of of a 2021. So the car didn't get less safe, they changed the rules. Same thing happened to my new car. Pick+ last year, not even a Pick this year.
That's a bit ironic, since the results of crash test conducted personally by the retired President of IIHS partially influenced my choice.
