Heck, looking at Raitit's Rides review, someone commented it's not uncommon to get them for mid-$30k. At that price, might be hard to pass up. We'll see if those deals can still be had near year's end when inventory shouldn't be an issue with any automaker.

When the spike in gas prices occurred, I found an appreciation for driving slower/more relaxed. Of course, that CVT would be the biggest annoyance. The TLX-S would handle better too, but being 500lbs lighter does have its advantages. Also, far superior as a cruiser with 66dB at 70MPH vs the typically horrendous Honda road isolation with 71dB at the same speed for the TLX-S (per C&D).

There's no shot in shit the Maxima is worth even remotely close to $45k, and the TLX-S is easily worth the $10k more to purchase. At ~$35k, it's harder to pass up. But that CVT tho ...
We bought a new Maxima, and drove it for many years. It had a V6 and a conventional multi-gear automatic. It seemed fast enough. Before we traded-in on the 2014-MDX, we looked at the 7-seater Infiniti SUV. My wife HATED-IT . It was very slow with the CVT. Ever since then, my wife knows she hates CVT transmissions and will not buy a vehicle with one ... but apparently Infiniti and Nissan loves them.

I believe it will be revealed after the Integra Type S.

Acura’s marketing team has been doing a great job by creating buzz since 2019. Every 6 months, they come up with something new. So I believe it will be:

Integra Type S
TLX MMC
ZDX
That's a double edge sword. They are doing a great job hyping up upcoming models to oblivion, using all kinds of gimmicks and CGI in ads and advertising, only to be at the bottom of the barrel against the competitors.

A 24 Type S Advance could be a possibility since no Advance models seemed to be stocked the past few years, Acura typically adds highend trims later in a product cycle, and their chip supplier shortages should ease with China reopening.

8k more for air suspension, massaging seats/ 360 cam, hud, etc. Seems like that could have a market and would be minimal new R&D.

Could hold the spot in the lineup that the RLX used to hold.

I don’t see Acura adding the air suspension or massaging seats to the TLX-S, that is of course if they even do decide to add the advance trim to the lineup. Solely my opinion but who knows, we will have to wait and see.

TLX MMC has been spotted but I am surprised there is no news or reveal date. I am not too optimistic about the MMC based on Honda and Acura's philosophy. But what I am shocked is to not hear anything about RDX.

RDX hit the market in late 2018 if I am not mistaken as 2019 model. This is going to be the 5th year....at least some info???

Well, the RDX got an MMC for 2023MY. I would assume the next gen RDX will be for 2025/2026MY, with the reveal coming out less than a year prior to release. Plus, it seems that Acura doesn't like doing multiple news releases of different cars. One car at a time to help keeping news about the brand fresh. We have the Integra Type-S, TLX MMC, MDX MMC and ZDX (& Type-S) coming in the next couple years.

I'd suspect news of the next-gen RDX to come around mid-2024 or later.

Agreed!

I think next big news is Integra TYPE S!

I'd be surprised if the MMC changes too much. The styling is already so good I can't see anything beyond some small tweaks. Probably an all digital gauge cluster and wireless carplay/android auto, maybe the bigger infotainment screen from the MDX, but bigger changes then that would be very surprising especially considering all the R&D money right now is definitely going to the electric future.

I am with you. Wireless charger yes, but digital gauges not too sure. I hope they don't change the gauges until I buy mine I love the TLX interior.
