Recommendations for Car Cover
Anyone have recommendations for a '23 Type S cover? I recently moved and now I'm walking to work/grocery store/etc. and I'm driving significantly less. Climate is humid and wet with very mild winters. I'd prefer something with no branding that would make the car stick out to thieves.
I went to my local Walmart and bought a premium car cover that fits my Type-S for $60 and it does the job pretty good doesn't quite cover my wheels all the way but my TLX is 95% covered with the car cover.
Will your car be parked outside or indoors? I used CoverKing Autobody Armor custom car cover when I needed to park my 06 TSX Aspec outside in the southwest. It was made for outdoor conditions for UV rays, acid rain, bird droppings, impacts from small hail that would cause dents, rain/snow/ice protection, custom tight fit for less flapping on windy days, soft fleece inner lining, etc...
I used a semi-custom cover made by Budge for my Porsche for over 20 years. It was made of Tyvek, the Dupont product. The outside was a silvering white surface that was very heat resistant and the inside was like a flannel shirt.. I don't know if Budge makes covers of Tyvek anymore but the Budge site can be found at Budge for 23 Acura TLX
