On my new TLX/ASPEC, when you venture near the vehicle, with your key fob, ambient lighting
is deployed, inside, & on the outside mirrors
No touching required

 

Yup, my 2007 IS350 has it too, so cool

 

Yeah my 2011 did that but the 2004 did not. Can be a PITA on occasion. When I am working outside every time i walk by the car it unlocks & locks. Have to remember to leave the key fob in the garage or house.

2004 required a button push to open. One thing that was slick was walking toward the car hand in my pocket holding the button down while the car unlocked, mirrors deployed, the windows lowered, then the top went down.
