Discount is a discount. You and I can pay whatever...but, to many that is a surprise, esp for the Type S, when many are saying dealers are doing ADM's!
I'll take any discount they want to throw at me....IF I were to finance, etc. Those that are well off don't turn down free money. And those that are looking
for anything to help them buy the car they want...will certainly not scoff at the discount.

Regardless of what the dealers want to do Acura needs to move Type S units to recoup the development costs on that new engine. The discounts are coming once they get the inventory numbers up.

Don't think the guys are looking for free as there is no such thing as a free lunch. I do think the guys would like to see Acura clamp down on the BS ADM's. What good is a 1% discount off MSRP it the dealer jacks the price up 30%? Shit most give the troops at least $2500. Might not be a great percentage but $750, could not even round it up to $1000.

Just thinking I am in the BMWCCA Tar Heel Chapter think its about $45 a year. Gives me discounts on cars, parts, service they run the track program so I get discounts on track days, HPDS, local chapter events etc. I buy a BMW make my deal with the dealer, rebates discounts, Performance Center Delivery & BMW finance rebates, money factor discount plus money back on unused lease miles etc.
Once I take it home I copy the invoice mail it into BMWCCA & they send me a check for $1500 to $2500 depending on what model I bought. Just some extra money on the side including an upscale magazine every month totally divorced from the actual dealers transaction.
