NEW....front splitter from Artwrork Bodyshop wrapped and installed

Guys, here is an alternative to getting the Type S front splitter....

This is from a company called Artwork Bodyshop. They sell these front splitters in matte or gloss black. I bought the matte finish because I knew I would have it wrapped in Carbon Fiber. Well, that got done today. And Swoosh (Anil) and I installed ti tonight. Simple install...it takes a little bit of doing, but it turned out fantastic! Plus, it ties together well with the other pieces that were wrapped in Carbon too.

I'm very pleased with the outcome......

Not sure what you mean by meaty. To tall, too wide, bad aspect ratio, bad tread design?

too much sidewall, should be lower profile especially for 19" but then again personal preference can have affect maybe because of better ride quality wanted

Those are the OEM tires on Vossen wheels (which are one inch wider than OEM).

I tried something last night...tell me what you think of the red pin stripping along the new front splitter. I'm not sure if I'm keeping it this way or not-what's your opinion?

I would either remove it from the splitter or above it. The dual look doesn’t look great but one or the other would.

Actually, it wasn't bad. Swoosh and I got it done in about an hour. But you might need a 2nd person to assist.

I personally would lose all the red striping, but if you wanted the "OEM Plus" look (eg. like the CTR, Hyundai N, Subaru Sport lines), then I would only keep the red strip on the lowest front lip and perhaps the side skirt/rear spat region.

Would lose all the red striping. Classy car not a Fast & Furious one. Has a grown up paint job, could not imagine doing red striping on the M4C. That said your car your money & what you like trumps all.

I would also pull off the red stripes. There is a lot going on there. It's your car so really if you like it that's what counts. Great color choice, would be exactly what I would pick. Not in your face but looks so good on that car. Kinda balances out the aggressive styling in a good way.

I think the stripes work well as it contrasts an otherwise dark color scheme (dark gray/black). I have Performance Red so, I think it would be a bit much in my instance.

I definitely plan on getting that carbon fiber wrap though.

My aero is all piano black standard equipment. Same in CF was an option for around $5,000. A few extra parts not in the package could double the price so I passed. Will most likely do a CF wrap because I am not all that happy with the current contrast.
