Terrible outcome.

I do wish the rest of you TLX owners luck in holding on to the car. I think I'll be sticking w/luxury German makes for the foreseeable future.
The 2027 AMG GLC 53 is coming back with a 6-cylinder and is super intriguing for my next car! The same is expected for the C-Class.

Sorry this happened to you. Thieves suck so bad and my hope is that the harm, pain, distress and aggravation they cause others will come back on them many times over!

That really sucks to see. Terrible as an owner for a car. Also terrible fate for a cool, really a rare car. It's truly pathetic.

But here is the copart auction link: https://www.copart.com/lot/98623365/...-washington-dc

Is the low VIN number a big deal (i know it is in the Corvette community) because I've been wondering this since I got my car because I have a 2021 Type S and the VIN on mine is 191.

Lol honestly, not really a big deal. Just a neat novelty thing to me. My VIN was PA000195 so it was one of the first 200 TLXs produced for 2023. I thought it was cool as all.

How many Type S did they make year by year because I can not find documentation of it with exception of the PMC editions

Mine is just over 2200, so upset I'm may just sell it.

Seriously, I didn't realize VIN were in order of production.

My youtube feed has sent me a few videos of body shops who repair copart Acuras. They've fixed cars far worse than this.

My bet is that it will be back on the road looking brand new in 3 months. Keep tracking the vin.
