Glassparency?

Has anyone had Glassparency treatment applied to their windows? I was at my local detailer that ceramic coated my Type S and I saw they offer this product for $250 for all of the windows (not sure if that includes rear windshield).

I used to use Aquapel but I’ve been using RainX this time around. However, RainX seems a bit reflective where as the demo for Glassparency seems to show a major reduction in glare. It lasts for 3 years and has a warranty during that period where reapplication at the original shop is free of charge if needed.

I’m highly considering it but just curious if anyone else has any experience before I do.

Use Rain-X in the window washers. Generally Windex or any commercial cleaner on the side, rear & front windows when the car gets washed. Have never applied a full window treatment. Don't wear glasses so don't really have a reflection issue.

One thing that bugs me, no pun intended, is dirty car windows. Its the one cleaning job I pay the most attention too. I figure, could be wrong, the windshield takes bug hits and all kinds of road dirt so it needs manual cleaning on a regular basis. Not sure how a coating will remove that requirement.

It is.

It supposedly helps with ice build up too. Repels water better than RainX from what I’ve heard.

There’s a link to the product. Seems to be worth it as the maintenance is included in the price. I always found Aquapel to be superior to RainX and this seems to be higher end than that.

My PDR guy has to pull a small dent out of my rear quarter panel. Looks like a rock hit it at the right angle and put a small chip/dent. I talked to him about Glassparency and he’s certified to install it and will do it for $200 for the full car. That’s $50 cheaper than the norm around here so I’m going to do it.
