I hear some type S’ are arriving in Quebec today, mine is expected either late today or tomorrow in Onatrio, just thought i’d start a thread for people to post up as their cars arrive! Didn’t think we’d be taking ours home before anyone in the US but it looks that way.

Curious - is your dealer within the GTA?

Mine is in St.Catharines and my delivery date isent till August. It was already pushed once. Was supposed to be July. I'm guessing the big urban centres may be getting them earlier.

It's confirmed that Acura de Laval received their Type S and the owner was supposed to get the delivery today It's black color.

I have a deposit on one of the first 3 type S allocated to my dealer (Quebec city). Apex Blue was the only color left, but was my first choice anyway =)
I didn't make a reservation through Acura website, but had given a deposit last summer, quite a long time ago!. The first two arrived today (One black, one white). Mine is on track and will be here within a week.
Price is MRSP without ADM, nor rebate.
Can't wait to drive it!

Mine arrived at my dealer yesterday.
However, I wanted accessories dealer installed before delivery, and they are not available til late July.
So I taking delivery end of July.
The next day, installing Blackvue F & R dashcam.

I’ve had mine for 5 days now, still letting it break in, 500km down 500 to go before i let myself really get on it. Any other new Canadian owners on here?

Congratulations. What percentage of tent did you go with. I can’t wait to get my type is however I think I’m gonna wait until next summer

the blue is fantastic eh. Anyone know if there are any laws against buying a car in alberta and registering it in a different province? Wouldnt really help me because a) i already bought it and B) im in Ontario so its too far but if you lived in BC you would be taxed over 15% on this car, and in Alberta its 5%. Seems like a pretty easy way to save over $5,000 for anyone living in BC, but you would think there has to be some kind of way the tax man will get cha.

Once you register the Alberta-bought vehicle in BC, you will need to pay the additional taxes.

A great looking car, I really like the Blue. I'd want it with the Parchment interior, but that interior is inexplicably unavailable on the Type-S

Nice. As an owner of both generations, how does it compare to your 1G TLX?

I like the 2G so far better, I'll see how it is in the snow. Drives better, no jerky transmission like 1g's. Smoother drive. Would probably need to change winters before snow hits since the pzeros are probably no good in any snow

As it's almost September and difficult to get the 2021s, does anyone know when the 2022 Type S is arriving? Is it going to be end of this year in the summer again next year?

My dealer said he put in an order for me a couple of weeks ago. He said delivery for the 2022 should be in November or December, depending on the chip shortage.

With only 240 copies of Type-S, there is no more 2021 MY left to be purchased.

My dealership mentioned that there would also be only 240 copies of 2022 MY TLX Type-S for the entire Canada.
