Smile All SMILES!

1st off; I have a 2021 TLX/ASPEC/SH-AWD, with 15,500 miles on it
One complaint: City MPG is HORRENDOUS!
Stop & go, nets you 15MPG; if you're lucky
Flip side; just drove to East Hampton; 65-70MPH; no traffic/34.8 MPG!
Car has been awesome; Acura replaced the front discs; (squeaks), free of charge
Gave me my last oil change, & wiper blades; FREE; for being a loyal customer!
Just found out from my GM, that it would cost me, $150/month, MORE,
for a 2022, with the same specs.
C R A Z Y!
After 8 TLX's, TL's, & CL's, this TLX is better than all of them
My Apple IPhone 12, still doesn't wirelessly charge; (annoying), with no fix in sight
All in all, for $45,000, I'm SMILING!

Looking good! its far and awaay the best car that i have owned or leased. Great looks, a very comfortable and posh interior, an amaing sound system, excellent handling, etc.etc. City mileage is not great, but its in the okay category. i make up a few errands just to drive mine more frequently.

FYI, getting my rotors replaced this Saturday as well. Other than that and subpar fuel economy performance (partially my own fault), it's been a sublime ownership experience thus far.

Glad to hear you're enjoying the TLX! I admittedly find myself wishing it was a bit quicker more often these days, but 90%+ of the time it's more than fast enough. I agree that gas mileage could be better too. The tires that come on it are probably the other thing that bug me the most as they're pretty average in terms of grip. This car has so much more to give but the tires hold it back. I know that's a relatively simple fix (though expensive), but I don't wanna put down ~$1k+ on a set of 4 tires + mounting/balancing on a car I'm not 100% sure I'll keep longer term. I'm almost a year into my lease and it's probably one of my favorite cars I've had, but I also just like checking out new cars too much .

I can only imagine - though the extra power at least makes it worthwhile, right? Gas mileage isn't usually a top priority for me, but it admittedly has me second-guessing another Acura. I feel like these vehicles should be getting better gas mileage, but pretty much all across the board people are reporting worse than expected gas mileage except maybe the non-Type S MDX. Some are doing all right, but it feels like most are getting gas mileage that is below expectations.

My 2011 BMW 335i got about the same gas mileage as I'm getting with the TLX, maybe even a bit better. While that vehicle was lighter, the engine had two more cylinders, it was faster, and had what is now a relatively primitive 6-speed transmission. I really think the weight of the TLX works against it in so many ways, but it at least handles well for it (even surprisingly times) and it's such a good well-rounded car otherwise.

Glad to see you are enjoying the TLX, it's a really nice car, gotta look twice while driving around at it. I'm still in my M240 tearing up the roads, i will be specing out an M4 comp in Dec. i have my RDX flashed stage 2 it's also kicking ass driving around town.

I love driving my 22 TLX but agree on the mileage. I came out of a midsize pickup and was hoping for more of an increase.
