Question AARRGGHH! How to reprogram remote?

2022 TLX Type S. One keyfob battery died. Put in new known good battery. When pressing any button, the left red LED blinks, but nothing happens. Does anyone know how to "re-pair" in with the car? The instruction manual has nothing in it about this. Thanks everyone.

Try this:

Acura Key Programming: Step-by-Step Guide

Not sure how to program an Acura key fob? That’s okay. We put together this step-by-step guide to help you program your Acura key fob properly. Before you start, be sure to read through the entirety of the programming instructions before attempting, as some steps require immediate action. The steps for proper Acura key fob programming are as follows:
  1. Sit in the driver’s seat of your Acura vehicle and ensure the trunk as well as all doors and windows are closed.
  2. While holding your key fob, turn your vehicle on.
  3. Immediately after, press the lock and unlock button on the key fob once, ensuring you’re aiming your remote at the keyless receiver.
  4. Turn your vehicle off and then back on again within four seconds of the previous step.
  5. Then press the lock and unlock button again and repeat the process for a third time.
  6. After you have completed three rounds of this, press a button on your remote to ensure the programming process has been successful.

No idea and worth a try, it was on an Acura dealership's website. And the difference may be a fob that was already paired vs a brand new one, as with my TSX to pair again I just need to click the lock and unlock buttons at the same time.

Yes this is the general way you do all Acuras in Hondas but they're all a little bit different.

I tried this with the TLX and once out of about 30 times trying it, the car did enter programming mode. You know that because the doors will lock and then unlock on their own as a signal that you're in programming mode. But whatever I did with the unpaired remote didn't get it paired and then the car went out of programming mode. I've literally tried it 30 times or more with different combinations of pressing the lock and or the unlock button because each instruction is always a little bit different

I wish somebody could access the service manual that's on this site, I can't seem to do it, and see what it says because I'm sure the instructions are in there.

Why would you think its that. AFAIK, keyfobs don't have anything to do with fuses, and the main keyfob works fine.
