I’d be looking for either a 25 or 26 either at the end of this year or beginning of next. I think I’m really feeling the Lunar Silver just to be different. I’ve had a few TLX’s over the years but backed away when they dropped the 6 cylinder. I tried to look at a Type S back in 2021 - 2022 but they wouldn’t let me test drive without a credit app so I drove an Audi S5 and S6 for a few and currently in a BMW i5 M60. I love the car but fully electric cars are for the birds….
Update on my Order, car was produced this week and is on dealers online new car inventory. Shows in-transit on Acura’s inventory. Car was produced earlier than the July 29th date given few weeks ago .
Don’t jinx it; July isn’t over yet. IIRC the rumor was that the last one would be built in July, so things are only safe if we see any continued to be built after this month.

That's sad. I loved my '07 TL-Type S 6MT and might have gone with an RLX if they hadn't been killed or a TLX if they hadn't somehow managed to make it bigger and heavier while simultaneously making the interior smaller.
Thanks to the public's love affairs with SUVs and .pickup trucks in seems like sedans are gradually going extinct.
Have had all the Type-s models over the years. Current one is the best and most unique. 4 wheel, 355, 10 speed and brembos. This level is fine for me and I NEVER have to go to the dealership except for oil, etc. Strong aftermarket if you want a hotter version. !70 at Bonnieville. Sorry to see it go but mine will still be on the road after I'm not. A niece is still driving my first one original 2001. There is a coupe for sale with 46000 miles $16,500.
My next car will need to be red. And it will be a BMW so ideally I want Imola Red, Motegi Red or Rosso Corsa Individual
Out of the three I think I'd go with Rosso Corsa. I did seriously consider getting the Grenadier Red that my '88 XJS V-12 had. BMW will paint it any color you want, it just costs more.

my son drives my 07TL TYPE-S. They're fun, beautiful and fun vehicles. Had an 01 Base for 9yrs and only sold it at 255k miles because of rear main seal leak after 2 timing belt changes.

Did you pick up the car? Hope so and that you're loving it!

Yeah I Rosso Corsa is super nice seems to command quite the premium on the M cars which is what I am after.
We shall see at the end of the year, I will decide if I wanna continue holding onto my Type-S or perhaps plunge for an upgrade to a new and and different platform provided auto market conditions are atleast somewhat better
Last update, car arrived at dealership yesterday, I did paper work last night ,was charged MSRP and Doc fee no other fee’s . Process took 2.5 months from order to delivery. I got to pick exterior color and interior color. Car was built before Acura pulled the plug on the TLX, then Delivered to dealer in 10 days. 2025 TLX Type S

Don't buy accessories from the dealership, if you csn help it. Online Acura stores sell for 20%_30% off some accessories and parts withvkow shipping.
Flip side is that accessories installed by the dealership are covered by the factory warranty. Plus, most people I doubt want to DIY something like a steering wheel swap.

This is fair, however the carbon interior, and similar accessories I would do myself. Steering wheel? would leave that to the dealer.

Buy the items from an acura dealer online and have your local dealer install it! It'll come with the warranty on the item and then the labor since it's genuine acura. My go to is Tim @ oemacuraparts.com
