The interior surface on some wheels are not completely flat which means that the TPMS does not make complete air tight contact all round with a resulting air leak. A small rubber o-ring will usually solve that problem. Leave it to the tire shop to provide you with the wheels, tires, and TPMS as a package. If it does not work it is their problem.

discount tire and other places have rebuild kits that include everything to refurbish the TPMS sensor. I believe it has the battery too.

Maybe some rims require that, my rims I bought for my TLX were fine and the TPMS just swapped right over no issues

I know the guys in the shop and they tried one wheel and the valve was leaking so they can but a regular valve in if I don't care about the light being on or find the kit but is it new senors or something to add on the ones I have

is the valve stem leaking past the rim? IF yes, you can put the TPMS sensor inside the tire and leave the valve portion off and install a regular valve. That way the system still gets the info and you'll have no leak.

This is where the o-ring should help. I put in standard valve steps when two of my rims were leaking and could not stand the warning light, especially at night, and the slew of warning messages each time the car was started.
