TLX Wheel Size info

Hello,

So looking at getting something aftermarket for a 2.4 TLX, maybe from Tire Rack a nice set of OZ rims or something but no one has the TLX up, so does anyone know the tech specs for the wheel so I can start shopping for something?

Thanks!

Just select an Accord in the Tire Rack configuration to see what will fit the TLX. I haven't seen anyone officially report what the offset on the TLX 17 & 18 inch wheels are, but I would expect it to be almost the same as the Accord.

Thanks guys. Tire Rack, only shows matching to cars. Prado you said an Accord, but are you 100% sure hate to buy something that does not match. What about the RLX, tl or TSX?

5x114.3 bolt pattern, 17x7.5 (going for 18" myself)... I believe the offset is 50.

Anything else I need?... is this the same as the Accord?

As you have found, the TLX is not yet in the Tire Rack database, and I have not found any cars (Accord, TL, etc) with matching wheel/tire specs. On a comparable site in Canada i have not even been able to find any 17" wheels with 50 offset.

Offset for tlx is 45 mm based on 19" wheel specs

So if the 19" accessory wheels are 19x8 with a 45 offset, with a 5x114.3 pattern, that gives you everything you need. The accord sport wheels are 18x8 with a 45 offset, so pretty much anything that would fit the Accord will most likely fit the TLX. The lower the offset number, the more the wheels will stick out. I suspect the factory 17 wheels have a higher offset than the 18 or 19s. My guess is it is a 55mm offset.

Both the 18"/19" accessory wheels have an offset of 50mm according to the installation instructions.

I will be curious to see what other type of Acura wheel can fit on the TLX. I am not a big fan of aftermarket wheels but not a huge fan of the current OEM wheels either.

I like the design of the wheels on the V6 model but was hoping to go with the I4 and have a set of 18 inch wheels from Acura put on. I love some of the older accessory wheels from Acura and I hope some others will fit....

If I go with the V6 stock 18's for spring/summer and a back up Acura set of 17's for winter/fall (all with TPMS), is any reprogramming necessary? I know I'd need an alignment.

Same for me. Stock V6 18" for summer and OEM 17" for winter with winter tires. TPMS sensors are install and go. Only balancing required, but not wheel alignment should not be necessary.

I put my 18x8.5 A-SPEC wheels on my TLX V6 with a 1.5 inch drop it fits well and no rubbing or problems. They are a 45mm offset.

Hey Brutus I ordered my wheels and tires from TireRack. I used 2014 Accord Sport as my selected vehicle. The bolt pattern and hub size is the same for TLX. The wheels I used have a 45 offset.
