LF scraping sound going over small bumps
Bought my '16 TLX several months ago, and the LF strut leaked all the oil out soon there after (blown). Car had 41K on it.
The Hundai dealer I bought it from replaced it with a Monroe 72971 strut per the repair order.
There is now a scraping noise from the left front when going over small bumps, turning, and braking.
Do you think this is the strut, or the strut mount hardware? I have checked the torque on the top bolts, and they are at or above 50 ft. lbs.
