Hey guys my strut rod bushing popped out the other day on me while driving. So my question is do I need to remove the strut rod to put in the new bushing? Also, can this missing bushing cause the strut to have some play at the top mount?

 

Hey David1221, a top strut bushing which has "popped out" will require the strut assembly to be removed for replacement. How long has it been since the struts have been replaced ? May be a good time for new ones while in there !
