This doesnt alway happen, but on cold starts, I get this odd noise. It sounds louder in the video, but it tends to go away. Seems like it is coming from the drivers side dash. Anyone else had this issue?

 

Sorry can't make it out from the video. I hear a little clank sound sometimes at startup on my V6. It is hears easier for the first start.

 

After looking, I found two areas I think the sound could've come from. It looks like I am missing a bolt by my pedals, dealership must've forgotten to put it back on.

Also, the plastic underneath the steering column seems to make noise, so I'll have to try to wedge something in there to keep the plastic in place.

 

I have the same issue. Any luck with fix or is it normal?

 

Do you have video as well? I have my maintenance appointment this Friday and I'll mention it to them. I may take a video.

I think I may have to schedule a dealership apt, but I dont want to pay the high price they are going to charge. Mine is definitely coming from the dash. It has to be something that moves or expands on acceleration, cause it does not rattle over bad roads or bumps. It only does it once or twice a trip, which makes it maddening to me.
