V6 Shift from 4th to 5th Gear

Today when I turned off my music, I noticed that the shift from 4th gear to 5th gear; there is a noticeable sound/thump when the gear changes. The gear change itself is smooth unlike the 2-3 change; but has anyone else noticed the sound with the 4th to 5th gear change sound? It sounds like a harsh gear change; but don't really feel it.

Nope. I'd be concerned.

I notice the occasional sound with DCT at low speed. It is very faint but sounds like something decoupling. I don't feel anything.

The 4-5 shift uses the dog clutch. If you're hearing or feeling abnormal things, then it could be an issue, but keep in mind that shift will feel a little different and take slightly longer due to the momentary shift to neutral and alignment of the two components.

How do you know you are going from 4th to 5th? Are you in Sport +?
