Angry A-Spec Issues - All Warning Lights on

This past weekend while driving my wife and newborn, all the warning lights that you can think of came on the dashboard. Luckily we were near our home so I drove it back slowly. Started the car back up the following day and the navi was blank for a few minutes while all the warning lights are popping up. Yesterday morning I was getting ready to drive the car to the dealership and it would not move out of gear. The car was pretty much immobile and stayed in park. Called Roadside to get it towed and even they couldn't figure out how to get the car to move. Long story short, roadside had to fork out an additional $60 or so in order for the tow guy to get the car on rollers to push it out of the garage. The tow guy said this happens quite frequently and he had to tow a new 2-day old NSX because the owner had the same issue.

The dealer so far is saying they need to order a new battery component and will do further testing. My car only has 2k miles...should I be worried?

check out your battery terminals or battery itself, on its way out or low.

New cars aren't immune to battery issues, it could very well be that there was a bad cell in the battery from the factory or a parasitic draw somewhere that's drained it in which case a full charge will fix the issues. Colder temps also exacerbate battery issues.

It's happened a couple times already to Aspec owners. It's not the battery but the battery fan fuse that goes out. No idea why that would cause those symptoms but the couple that reported it said the same cause.

Someone on YouTube posted this:

Another member PM'd me and mentioned he had the same issue.

After one week, I too had a minor problem; my bottom screen; (climate control, media, etc.), froze
thankfully, it was a minor 5 minute software upgrade; no biggie
Love my A-Spec!
