Seat heaters and burning smell

With the cold spell here in LA, I've been using the seat heater. Tonight I put it on high and in about 10 minutes got what smelled like an electrical burning odor. Immediately turned off heater and smell went away. No visible smoke. Any else had this happen?

^^ Was is your first time using them? If so, it could just be the initial smell of chemicals burning off.

If it smells electrical - shut if off, don't use it again and take to the dealer. Let them inspect. Last thing wanted is a seat electrical fire that destroys the car...

^^ Well, if it did, he could tell his friends...."It's that kind of thrill" - Sorry, I know that joke is getting old but couldn't resist!

Yeah...haven't used it since. I also realized that i had the CC set to 81 Degrees. Higher than I normally would ever have it. Going to run a test...
Seats off, CC at max
Seats on, CC off.

Will let you know.
