Oil catch can

I didn't see much discussion on this topic or answer for this. I know newer engines are better than the previous model with GDI, but do you think the oil catch can can be prevent carbon build up in the long run? I'm thinking of getting one but not sure where is the pcv hose that need to be attach to or are there any benefit at all. Any inputs?

I4 should be very simlar to RSX/TSX I4 so you can follow lots of advice/info from there. The K-series does benefit from a catch-can!
