Lower Door Sill Protection

Anyone find or do anything to protect the lower door sills ?

I find it quite odd that Acura would leave the lower sills painted and exposed like that, it's an easy place to get scratches and scuffs.

Up until now Acura Models had both upper and lower sill protection of some sort

What type of protection would be available? Is there some type of clear vinyl or other method of discreetly providing the protection?

I suppose I'd be up for considering it if someone has a decent option.

Heres what I did: When I bought my car I told my girlfriend she better be careful and do not step on or scratch the door sill. Problem solved.
