Hey guys has anyone jewel eye failed or had issues? I noticed my passenger side it dull and a bit yellow compared to my driver side which is white with a blue tint. Wonder if anyone had any replacements as of yet

 

Perhaps that side's a bit dirty? I've noticed that in the winter time that the dried residual of snow and slush will cause the light output be degraded somewhat. Even with the headlamp washers found on the Canadian Elites, they don't get back to the same performance until they've gone through a wash.

 

^^ I doubt that dirt is the issue here....Usually, dirt on the front of a car is fairly symmetric thing and doubt that there would be enough dirt to make such a noticeable difference.

OP....I would suggest you go to the dealership and have it looked into.

Yeah I'm going to the dealer for my first oil change since it's free and I'll show them this the pics looks white but on my garage door you see the difference, maybe the unit is failing on the passenger side. But you can see it clearly the driver side is blue tinted and the passenger side isn't and it looks like a hid bulb even when driving I notice it on other cars

 

LED's can go into thermal runaway in which they keep getting hotter and hotter and the LED burns out! Sounds like a fan or cooling system for that LED side may have failed and the bulb is overheating and now on it's way out.

 

that is probably what happened when I first got the car the colors were ok now its bright white but dull, the driver side is bright white with the blue tint. I'm taking the car to the dealer tomorrow for the first oil change and to get this addressed ill let everyone know what happens.
