Use the high beam in those situations that is what they're for. It doesn't make sense to adjust the headlights permanently and cause glare to other drivers in other settings.

Guys, he didn't say he was going to adjust his headlights to blind people on the road. He only said that his headlights are aimed too low. You guys are assuming they are aimed properly and he is going to aim them higher than that.

Clearly since his tsx is factory aimed, and he matched it to the factory aim on the tsx, how can he be blinding anyone?

I had a couple 2016 RDX loaners with the jewel eyes and I experienced the same thing OP is. EXTREMELY bright 10-20 feet in front of the car and garbage anywhere further. I was able to see the headlights on my light grey driveway during the day in bright sun light!!! So clearly light output is not the issue here.

thanks rdx10 you hit it right on the nail. It was pretty low now with the new adjustment to my tsx it's great much better than before. The service rep says a lot of people complaint about this as well.

All good man. I had the same experience so I knew exactly what you were talking about. I wonder if it was intentional because LED's are harder to focus than HID's.

FYI, because of this thread, I marked the aim of my headlights on my TSX before I traded it in, then positioned my new TLX with its headlights at the same spot. The height was essentially identical.

mine wasn't it was lower than my TLX. Was yours an early or late build? Mine was a very early build and I matched mine to it and it's great. Not as great as the tsx projector. Maybe the early build headlights were a tad lower mine use to always show on the bumpers of cars now its bottom of license plate where the cutoff line is.

Thumbs up 1/2 Turn on the adjuster

Had the same issue on my 15 TLX AWD Tech and was able to adjust up approx 1/2 turn on the adjuster and still be under the NH inspection target line on the garage wall. Made a big difference for me and I'm never flashed at by other drivers thinking I'm riding with the high beams on.

My TSX was built in June, 2016.

My TLX is a mid 15 build, so it is exempt from the driveshaft indexing TSB (but still exhibits highway vibe that is not cylinder deactivation related) and has already had the transmission replaced at 26K miles. With the low beams adjusted up a bit, I am pleased with the lighting that I now get from the car. That pesky vibe is really the last issue that I have with mine... the trans replacement and new software have mostly resolved the evil shifting habits of the car.

I adjusted mine up a bit and its made a huge difference. Not only are the low beams better but the high beams actually illuminate the road. It took me a bit to get them just right. I think the hardest part was finding the right length screw driver.
