..the inside back left door handle sensor to open the door on keyless gave up 2-3 days ago.


I checked the others doors and they are working.
I'll mentione it to the service at the next oil change .

 

Not a problem I wanted to hear about. I had a Mercedes where that was a common issue. Replaced two door handles in the time I had it. The Infiniti I had before that went 6 years without a problem with the keyless entry. On the Mercedes, it was a rubber seal that would crack and allow water into the system. It's a bit early in the life cycle of the TLX for that to be happening though.

 

If you have the US version, you will not encounter this issue on your rear doors.

 

True that. I was thinking that mine don't work that way to begin with!

 

... but it's canadian...it's more complex.

I had no idea that there was a difference in the U.S. and Canadian models with this feature. Actually, I'm surprised that there are even sensors on the back doors.

 

The loaner I had yesterday had a reluctant rear door button - I use them all the time to lock the car on exit. Mine is fine. I had a rattle on the right side which the dealer traced to something under the passenger seat. and fixed it. No other probs (at least discounting the color blind rear camera and demented hvac - both of which are as designed).

 

The Canadian Elite model has sensors and lock buttons on all doors.

 

So does the Tech. BTW, occasionally, my driver's door doesn't unlock or lock, so I use the back door. It always works again shortly thereafter.

 

My issues was intermittent for a while , but like I said finally is not intermittent anymore , it gave up... You may end up like mine one..
