Emissions and Parking Brake warnings

Emissions and Parking Brake warnings
2016 TLX SHAWD-Advance with 79K miles. Had an oil change and brake flush 4 days ago. This morning, I was on a highway and check engine light lit up, along with the parking brake warning light, and the red "PARK" light began flashing. The info screen says there is an emissions problem and electric parking brake problem. Everything happened at once. Other than the warning lights (especially the "PARK" light which is annoying due to the flashing), the car runs OK and there's no hesitation with starting. The parking brake also works, I set and released it several times as a test and I could feel it engaging and releasing through the brake pedal. The remote start does not work, but I think its disabled due to the parking brake warning.
I have an appointment this upcoming Saturday to get it checked out. I don't think its related to the earlier service as I was driving a lot between then and today with no issues. I'll update after the appointment. Car is way out of warranty due to mileage.

Well, this morning all warning lights have disappeared and the remote starter works again. From past experience, I believe low voltage in the battery causes whacky electrical issues in these cars (even if the battery warning light itself never comes on), and so I'm going to keep my appointment this weekend to at least test the battery. Its still on the original factory battery at just over 3 years old, 79K miles, so it doesn't owe me anything.

Don't cancel the appointment. Several people have had issues like this where all kinds of crap pops up as failing and the results were various items having to be replaced. Just because the failure lights go away doesn't mean the problem is gone. In some cases, the car goes into limp mode and the warnings come back on again and you don't want that happening while cruising down the highway or freeway with someone tailing you. Hopefully it's something as simple as the battery, though. Good luck.

Update on this. I had the AGM battery replaced and codes cleared. Everything seems to be good. If you experience warning lights come on, especially several unrelated ones at the same time, it might just be a voltage drop due to a failing battery. Check that first.

Normally when you remove the battery, the error code will be cleared. But if there's a real problem, the code will appear again. What you want to do is to get it scanned. You can go to auto part store and they will scan it for you. My car having same problem and the code is about catalytic converter deficiency.
