I have a 2015 TLX with 77,000 miles on it. I brought it into a shop I often use (not Acura) to have some maintenance done, and asked them to check the brakes. Since I have the original brakes I thought I would need new brake pads. They told me I don’t need new pads, they have only 20% wear on them! Is that possible?

 

I have a 2015 TLX with 90,000 miles and the original brakes. They told me I have 4mm left. I also got the same mileage on my 3g TL. Acura brakes seem to last a long time.
