Back cabin lights out?

Back cabin lights out?
My base '18 model has 7k miles and I actually just tried to turn on the back seat cabin lights a couple days ago, but they don't work. The front cabin lights work fine. Is there a setting I could have messed with that might have disabled those lights? I thought I'd have to be in certain mode for them to work. I tried P, D, even turning car off, but no cigar.

On the top of the car there is a slider on the left which is used to open the moon roof....to the right of that is another slider that turns on and off interior lights. If you make sure it is in the middle, then it will be set to turn on when the door opens, as well as anyone in the back seat can turn on the lights on the roof. If that slider is in the "off" position (I can't remember which one is off but you'll see), then the rear dome lights will not work. Try that should work.

Thanks, guys. The manual (with the one section under Interior and Exterior Lights, not sure if there was another section that covered it) actually doesn't address this. I did know about the slider, but I didn't know it affected the push buttons as well, reason being I have if off by default and can still turn front lights on with the buttons. The back lights are actually on a different logic. The buttons don't work when slider is in the off position. Only in the middle position will it let you activate with the button.
