Auto starter and climate control
Auto starter and climate control
Hi guys,
I noticed when I used the auto starter in the morning, the heater doesn't blow hard or even at all in cold weather. This was not the case when I first got the remote starter. My heater was blasted if the temp dropped below 50 degree F in the past (I know I know southern Cali people get cold if it below 60 degree F), but recently when I came out, my interior temp is cold and I couldn't hear the fan on. AC worked well if it hot outside. Is there something I might have tripped? Heater worked fine during normal usage. Thank you all.

Yeah I agreed with the engine temp and driving. What I find is that lately I don't hear the fan on, or even feel any warm air when using the engine starter on a cold morning. This was not the case in the past. What's weird is yesterday when I came out for lunch, the temp was around 60ish and the damn heater was on and I can hear the fan as well. Find it odd that the fan is on high when the temp is warmer than morning cold start. I just want to see if anyone having a similar issue or know if I might have change something that affecting the heater.
I get the part where engine need to be warm to get heat in the cabin. I do get decent temp in the car by the time I get to my car in the past when I used the remote starter, but lately is almost none. I just thought I might done something wrong or something is wrong with the auto setting where I get nothing now "comparing" to when I first got the starter. The fan worked well if it hot though, my AC on full blasted lol.
hmmm this is weird. Finally got a car washed last night after 2 months being dirty. This morning came out, my heater was on like the way it was in the past. Not sure if the car wash made any different hahaha
