All, I want to get a 2nd key. Can I buy a used one off eBay and then get it programmed? If so, how do I choose compatible?
Am I able to do it myself or do I need a locksmith? Seen some videos of folks using programmers but I am guessing those are more expensive.

Dealer will charge ~$180 to program. Locksmith maybe ~$100

 

I bought a cheap one on amazon and a local locksmith charged me $100 to cut the new key and program it. I had to have all the keys there for him to do it, but it didn't take too long, and I think it was money well spent.
