Hello fellas.

I have a weird issue that started happening a few days ago. I have to be honest i have searched the interwebs and i am either oblivious to the obvious cause or fix but please dont chew me out.

My 2019 TLX A-Spec SH-AWD started having an issue with the passenger blinker going bonkers and flashing way too fast - only when doing the turning signal and not when having the hazards lights on. I dont have any dead bulbs but i did replace the reverse and brake lights with LED bulbs that have the thingy maggigy to prevent them from doing the fast flash and have worked flawlessly for 7 years and the fact that the issue is only when signaling and not when hazards are on has me puzzled. Here's the crazy thing; for the past few days the issue is random. sometimes they work just fine and other times they just go bananas and blink fast from the start.

Wondering if anyone has a clue as to why this is happening and how to fix it. any input is greatly appreciated.

 

Could be an issue with the housing the blinker bulb sits in. If it's worn and the bulb pops out of the housing slightly that'll cause what you're seeing.

Remember front blinker bulbs are really two bulbs in one. Brighter part is for the blinker, dimmer part is for the parking lights. If either is not working correctly you'll get the fast blinker flash.
