2015 vs 2016 TLX

Is there any difference at all between these model years? I have a dealer claiming this is the case, and I do not see any differences in the specs, but it is hard to believe there aren't engineering changes.

It's not abnormal for a company to produce the exact same car for a couple years.

I noted elsewhere in this site that the 2016 V6 comes with a revised 9 speed to address the 2015 problems. Don't know whether that is true or not

2 year of the gen, almost never. The '16 will have subtle changes to include all the TSBs on the '15 model. No structural changes or changes to the specs like you'd see in a mid-cycle refresh.

My service advisor said this was indeed the case...
