I just noticed this same noise today when making a hard left turn. Has anyone recently had this issue?

 

I just started having this problem as well, after over a year of owning the car. I thought it was the suspension since I lowered it but now I know it's this. Exact same noise!! It's only noticeable when the car isn't moving and the steering wheel is turned.

 

Mine has returned for the 3rd time. Dealer and Acura rep absolutely refuse to replace it. This is the last Acura / Honda product I will ever own.

 

The only thing that fixed it was the airbag replacement. When my tech called, he was told that it was a known problem so it was approved for replacement. But I did have another noise start after that. To fix mine for the most part I had to buy the wrench that fits into the side and remove the airbag myself and hold it in a place that it wasn't touching anything and tighten it down. There is a little play in it when you tightened the bolt so when I held it a certain way it seems to fixed the additional noise. Very annoying for sure!
