Three Wheelin'
It's funny seeing all this talk about needing exhaust tips as I am in the other camp. Maybe this is because my tendency is to embrace (and try and justify what I have). Seeing all those exposed pipes now looks so crude and old styled.
My ranking of exhausts styles
- 2" school bus straight pipe blowing crap right at you
- 3/4" single bare rusty pipe on small car, yuk
- dual bare rusty pipes, double yuk
- single (one sided) double chrome tip
- dual round chrome tip (a la 2G TL)
- dual double chrome tip (M3), police magnet
- dual shaped chrome tip/opening (a la 3G TL)
- dual enclosed/integrated shaped chrome opening
Hidden exhausts can be found on many other new cars, maybe start of a new design trend. Why promote how quite the interior of the car is then put on loud exhausts? There are definitely two different class of owners, but I am ok with that.
