so far so good. just minor annoyances. I always get used to a new car, but for some reason I'm having trouble modulating the brake - it's not smooth when stopping.

That's the same color combo I just picked up Tuesday! I wanted Black with espresso but the dealer didn't have it in stock so I walked the lot and seen that combo and I had to take it. Which trim did you get?

Congrats on your new car! That color combo is quite the hit. Acura hit the nail on the head with that one.

I am not sure what you mean by modulating the brake.. is the car rev matching in that is wants to surge ahead as it downshifts?

Thanks guys!

sort of surging. If I brake and keep my foot down the car have this dive/bite feel. So, instead I have to apply the brake, let go a bit, then apply again with the intention of smoothing out how it stops. I owned so many Honda and I will always figure it out in a day. But not this one.

I had a 9th Accord V6 (for 17 mos.) and I can really say the TLX is different. I don't get it when people try to compare it even to an Accord Sport.

I had my default set in Sport mode. hehe.

Black Copper Pearl is a chameleon color, depending on the source of the light (artificial, cloudy, sunny). Black one day, sparkly brown the next. We got the parchment interior "by popular request" (the spousal unit) and she really loves the exterior color, which surprised me.

Nice color combo. Wish espresso was available with all colors.

That's a beautiful car. I had a motorcycle that had a color that would change based on light and it's always a topic for discussion.

I'd read online comments about how the TLX is just a gussied up Accord, but I have reliable info, that informs me it is almost an entirely different vehicle, using mainly only the platform as a base. I really don't care if it is a "fancy" Accord, because the Accord is a fine car.

Hope you enjoy learning about your new car as much as I have. It's a lot of fun discovering just how much the TLX has to offer.
