Hey all!

I just purchased this brand new TLX advance pkg with SH-AWD on 07/23/2015. I just graduated college so this is my "graduation present" as we traded in my 2001 Acura TL that I have driven since I was 16.

I wanted specifically this color combo with the advance package since I really wanted adaptive cruise control. I LOVE the way the car looks, the way it drives, and all the technology and safety features Acura have included with it.

So this is my new car! Graphite Luster Metallic with Ebony interior, just rolled over 1,000 miles! I have added so far spoiler, spare tire kit, and window tint. Enjoy!

That color (like Anthracite) is actually very easy to maintain (hides dirt well). Nice choice.

What's the fate of the faithful 01 TL?

 

I actually chose this color since my dad has an 09 TL grey/black (see photo below) which I love and noticed how easy it was to keep clean over the years! On top of that, owning a black car was incredibly hard to keep clean.

The 01 TL was sold on 08/24/2015 for $5,000 with 120K miles. Not bad being that I purchased it stock 7 years ago for $6,500 with 80K miles. It will be forever missed. Luckily the new TLX still drives similar to my old TL so i love that (only way better especially due to the sh-awd!




Below is a photo of the 3 Acuras. My 2001 TL (just sold), my current 2015 TLX, and my fathers 2009 TL. My brother also owns a 2010 Acura TSX not shown in the photo........ I also own this 1999 4RUNNER with 265,000 miles I purchased 3 years ago to use as a camping rig/beach cruiser/uhual tower etc. It is in excellent condition and drives like new. Never let me down, period. Toyota and Acura have been great brands to own. My entire family males as seen in the photo own Acura sedans and the girls all own Lexus.5

Sorry to ask, but can you take a closer picture of your lip spoiler - I have a chip on the edge of the trunk lid.. just wondering if it will get covered...

 

CaliAtenza: Glad im not the only one who bought my TLX from Acura 101 in Calabasas. This is the 5th car we have purchased from there.

LAMIKE240: Im actually in Agoura Hills and have seen a grey TLX drive on Kanan, who knows maybe its you! Seen quite a few Graphite Luster Metallic TLXs in the area. Most popular color on the road I have seen for sure.
