Last night I picked up my 2.4 Base GLM/Ebony TLX!
It was so exciting going over all the features and finally getting to drive her home 58 days after putting in my order.
I'll post a full breakdown of my deal...post photos...and give my first review in the coming days.
Just wanted to share my excitement after stalking these forums for over 5 months now.

yaya112...Congrats on you new TLX! Nothing beat that new car feeling so I am ecstatic for you...I can't wait to get my new car next spring.
Don't let the criticism ruin your new car experience....we are all very passionate about and I will admit that sometime, we tend to be drama queens because we want the perfect even though we all know it doesn't exist. I include myself in the drama queen category (which I am sure you will prefer than me being a drag queen) but for the record, I love 95% of the TLX and maybe my stubbornness is keeping me back from the TLX but that 5% was a big deal for me but I may reconsider this winter if a fix is found or that subsequent tests changes my perception of the drive-ability.
I was really pumped about the TLX and every time I see pics or videos, I still get envious of you owners....
Can't wait to see the pics....and congrats once again.

Congratulations! Many of us know that agony of the wait for our TLXs. And we all know the excitement you are feeling today. I still have a lot of that excitement, even a month and a half later! Enjoy!

Congrats... I know the agony of waiting for a factory ordered car... I remember the daily check of the rail car tracker as it was en route.
I am lucky that the car I want was in transit and unspoken for. I may have my new TLX this weekend.
And I will second Weather's comment... Gotta try to ignore some of the negativity or "drama".

Here are the first pics. Not a lot of contrast with the GLM on Black but I love how GLM picks up so many other colors depending on surroundings.
As for the choice in colors...You can probably see that I live in the desert...so there's always a lot of dust. I've found that the darker colors hide the light dust a little better than the lighter ones. But black requires constant maintenance. The dark interior is easier to clean...though many people told me that it'll get too hot to want to sit in the seat. Given that I have mostly garage parking...I'm not overly concerned with it.
