For what it worth my COBRA uses a X4 & my BMW's A JB4. My personal dyno runs show soild power increases. The 335is went from 320WHP to 370WHP on just the JB4 & up to 410 with additional equipment.
Both these units use custome software, extra cost with the X4 included with the JB4 to generate the power increases.
COBRA is up 80WHP with the X4 & some additional top end equipment. Its a lot easier to generate additional power on a turbo engine over an N/A.
AFAIK there is nothing on the market that will make any measurable power increase in the Acura.
Typically the cheapo units if they do anything is speed up throttle tip in to create the illusion of more power. (look I only press the gas a little now & look how quick my car is - REALLY?)
LOL at the review of 20-25% increased HP. This is basically a sprint booster which adjusts throttle input.
i.e. if 60% pedal input gave you 60% actual throttle, after this mod, 60% pedal input would now give you 75% throttle (I'm making these numbers up).
100% pedal input can only max out at 100% throttle, so stock vs modded, the cars will accelerate, and reach identical speeds at the same exact time, so there is no real power added; it just changes driving feel.

Excellent performance chips for a 2015 Acura TLX. Significantly increased torque / power and improved MPG as well. I estimate about 20 to 25 increased Horsepower and 5 to 7 MPG improvement. Outstanding value for the money paid for this Innovative Performance Chip! I intend to purchase this chip for every vehicle I drive this day forward. The customer service is excellent as well. The seller sent me an email after I received the chip and provided me specific instructions on how to install the chip for my Acura TLX. I installed the chip in three minutes. Very satisfied with the product and the seller's follow up communication. I highly recommend this awesome product from this responsible seller!

I emailed ktuner a week ago and got a response. They are ready for testing on the tlx but are looking for testers. He also mentioned that there were some volunteers that backed out, and offered if id like to be the 1st tester for a discount on the product. Still havent responded to the offer.
Just for reference, i contacted hondata too and they have no plans as of now on the tlx

i was one of the guys that backed out. i was sick of the throttle on this and would of did anything to make it better. they offered me the unit at a discount price and i would need to send them maps to allow them to due some base tuning. then once the base tune was done you can go to a shop and get it tuned. I ended up getting the sprint booster and it fixed the car like night and day
you're correct. instead of having the sprint booster apply more throttle, a flash tune will up the HP via advancing the timing and fine tuning engine parameters
its a lease i didnt want to invest more into it than i did. it drives the way i want it to now and everyone who drove it is more than satisfied with power and throttle response. I've been there and done that with my supercharged TL now i just want smoooooth power delivery, nothing to give me head swings lol. with that said Ktuner will be great for this car and i think with a good tune it will be even better.
you'll need to be more informed and educated.
most everything, even bolton's are reversible. therefore cannot void a warranty, unless the added on part causes a direct failure to the warrantied part.
so, no. nothing will void the warranty.
and if you're worried about the warranty, dont mod the car!
