I am the proud owner of a TLX SH-AWD "Advance", and having taken delivery in late Dec 2015, with a build date of mid-Dec, I've experienced very few "new model" issues.

However, I cannot seem to reply while driving to emails and text msgs from my iPhone 5S. BTW - I have re-synched/paired my iPhone several times but the result is the same.

Let me explain: I am notified via the nav display of incoming emails and text msg, and successfully get them "read" to me by the car, and I am provided "canned" responses to choose from. Whatever response I choose to send (as a reply), the car attempts to send it, but then I get an error msg indicating it did not get sent.

I wonder if this is a TLX software problem or iPhone problem with the TLX?

I am confused that the "comm link" appears to be working since my TLX reads recent and incoming emails and texts to me, and sets me up to reply by offereing canned replies to choose from, but the reply never makes it out of the car.

I welcome any thoughts on this. Thanks!

Doesn't look like Acura and Apple have done a handshake on that feature. You will be able to receive a text message but will not be able to reply. Using the link above, click on "Find compatible phones and car models". I wasn't able to post the picture of the results.

Using SIRI you can reply.
